Japan Train LEGO® User Group (JT-LUG) Regulations (English Version)

Article 1 – Name

The name of this community shall be Japan Train LEGO® User Group (JT-LUG). The official website is available at: https://jt-lug.voog.com/ja

Article 2 – Secretariat 

The Secretariat of JT-LUG shall be located at a place designated by the Representative.

Article 3 – Purpose

JT-LUG exists to promote the creativity, educational value, artistic expression, and diversity of LEGO® building through the creation, exhibition, and enjoyment of LEGO® railway models and layouts.

The community also aims to encourage friendship and collaboration among members while contributing to children’s healthy development through exhibitions, events, and other cultural activities.

Article 4 – Membership

1 .Any person who supports the purpose of JT-LUG and agrees to these Regulations may become a member.

2 .Members shall share an interest in LEGO® building and conduct themselves in accordance with accepted standards of public order and good conduct.

3 .Personal information collected from members shall be used only for purposes necessary for the operation of JT- LUG.

Article 5 – Organization

1. JT-LUG shall appoint a Representative.

2. The Representative shall oversee the operation of JT-LUG, represent the community externally, and carry out administrative duties.

3. JT-LUG may appoint additional volunteer roles as required, including but not limited to:

-Community Ambassador (LEGO Group liaison) 

-LUGBULK Coordinator

-Treasurer

-Event Coordinator

-Other operational roles as necessary

4 .These roles shall be determined through discussion among the members.

Article 6 – Member Benefits

Members may participate in or exhibit at events organized, co-organized, or supported by JT-LUG.


Article 7 – Changes to Member Information 
Members shall promptly notify the Representative of any changes to their name, address, or other registered information.

Article 8 – Withdrawal

Members may withdraw from JT-LUG at any time by notifying the Representative.

Article 9 – Code of Conduct

1. Members shall treat one another with respect and contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community.

2. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, defamation, or any conduct that causes harm or discomfort to others is prohibited.

 3. Members shall comply with the rules of event venues and follow the instructions of event organizers while cooperating in the safe operation of exhibitions.

4. Members shall respect the work and intellectual property of others and comply with applicable laws as well as the LEGO Group’s intellectual property and trademark guidelines.

Article 10 – Complaints and Concerns

If a member or event visitor raises a complaint, concern, or request, the Representative or a person designated by the Representative shall review the matter and, where appropriate, consult with the relevant parties in order to resolve it fairly and appropriately.

Article 11 – Amendments

Any amendments to these Regulations shall be communicated to the members.

Supplementary Provisions

1. These Regulations originally came into effect on 1 January 

2017.

2. This revised version became effective on 7 July 2026.
